This burst data mode was spotted in June 2023. Bandwidth is 3000 ... 3100 HzHertz (Hz), unit of frequency, defined as one cycle per second (1 Hz). and there seems to be a pilot tone on the higher edge. Source and purpose of this signal are unknown.
ID almost certainly: Russian diplomatic 45-OFDM modem. Related to CIS-112 but different mode. Similar to CIS OFDM-45 but transmitted in bursts, not continuously. Should this be considered a separate entry, or is this just a mode of that CISCommonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the former Soviet Republic OFDMOrthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing-45?
Also see video: of OH8EFI in which CISCommonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the former Soviet Republic OFDMOrthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing 45 is transmitted in bursts.
12164 kHzKiloHertz (kHz) 10^3 Hz is a known frequency of Russian military or diplomatic comms, on which they use OFDMOrthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing-45 mode and others.
