P07 is a custom digital mode which is used by the "Russian 7" numbers station operator. This operator is probably a major Russian intelligence agency. Transmissions are known to happen on Wednesdays and Sundays. There are normally 6 transmissions per day with 10 minute intervals, each on a lower frequency with respect to the previous one.

P07 transmission consists of FSKFrequency-Shift Keying and BPSKBinary Phase-Shift Keying (1 bit per symbol) intro sections and a QPSKQuadrature Phase-Shift Keying (2 bits per symbol) OFDMOrthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing data section.

P07 is closely related to F07 which is used by the same operator.

Frequencies[edit]

P07 is transmitted on many frequencies between 4.6 MHzMegaHertz (MHz) 10^6 Hz and 10.45 MHzMegaHertz (MHz) 10^6 Hz and possibly on a wider frequency range as well. These frequencies and schedule are listed on Priyom.org.
