LoJack
LoJack is a vehicle tracking system that allows vehicles to be tracked by police, with the aim of recovering them in case of theft via a small radio transceiver clandestinely installed in a vehicle.
Bit rate: 1200 bits per second
Modulation rate: 1200 baudBaud (unit symbol Bd) is the unit for symbol rate or modulation rate in symbols per second.
Binary “0”/Space: 1.5 cycles of an 1800 HzHertz (Hz), unit of frequency, defined as one cycle per second (1 Hz). sine wave
Binary “1”/Mark: 1 cycle of a 1200 HzHertz (Hz), unit of frequency, defined as one cycle per second (1 Hz). sine wave
Samples[edit]
Example of an active vehicle beacon on 173.0750MHz with tower noise.
Can anyone identify the beacon low-hi noise in HzHertz (Hz), unit of frequency, defined as one cycle per second (1 Hz).?
