Talk:Terrestrial Trunked Radio (TETRA)
From Signal Identification Wiki
For nearfield detection of Tetra Trunked Mode Operation (TMO) sync pulses, some firms have build a detector for mobile use to detect Tetra users in the frequency band 380Mhz -385Mhz. Common users are Police, Fire, Medical, Military and Security services. If users switch to Direct Mode Operation (DMO) for short range communications, there are no sync pulses transmitted and detection by these detectors is not possible.
