Regarding the Decoding Process of AIS
After demodulation, you need to flip each 8 bits from MSB to LSBLower Side Band Modulation so
that the CRC would be checked.
Otherwise you will not be able to decode this signal.

Is this true for all AIS or this particular recording? I know that I had some trouble with reversing I/Q in my software when making this sample, which may have flipped the signal. --Cartoonman (talk) 23:24, 24 August 2016 (NZST)
