RUM-FEC
RUM-FECForward Error Correction, also known as ROU-FECForward Error Correction and SAU-FECForward Error Correction, is a FSKFrequency-Shift Keying FECForward Error Correction system used by Romanian diplomatic services. This is no longer used today, replaced by MIL-STD 188-110 Serial.
Two speeds have been known to exist for RUM-FECForward Error Correction, 164.5 BdBaud (unit symbol Bd) is the unit for symbol rate or modulation rate in symbols per second. and 218.3 BdBaud (unit symbol Bd) is the unit for symbol rate or modulation rate in symbols per second., both with ~450 HzHertz (Hz), unit of frequency, defined as one cycle per second (1 Hz). shift. Known to use bitmasking, with values of 10, 15, 24, and 31. This system has a bit spread of 128 bits with each new character starting every 16 bits.
